Your opportunity to gain early admission into a cost-free program at one of Russia’s top universities is provided through the Russian Scholarship Project.

Russia scholarships:

– The Federation of World Universities, in collaboration with the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Science and Higher Education as well as the Federal Agency for Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Citizens Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation, staged the Olympiad (Rossotrudichestvo).
The contest is aimed at gifted international students who desire free master’s and postgraduate enrollment in Russia.

Winners of Open Doors are provided extra early admission to any institution in Russia, without having to take an entrance exam, and their tuition is paid for by the Russian Federation.

The competition’s winners will have the option of applying to any Russian university under the single window system. Depending on the university and program chosen, English or Russian is the language of instruction.

-The Olympiad includes two tracks for potential master’s and doctorate candidates (alike to a PhD). The Master’s track of the Olympiad lasts for two rounds, whereas the PhD track lasts for three rounds (similar to a PhD). The prefect competition is in the first round, and the problem-solving challenge is in the second. The third phase of the Olympiad entails selecting and interviewing a possible future research advisor for the selected PhD program.

Foreigners and stateless people, including citizens who reside abroad, are eligible to compete if they have a bachelor’s degree or have finished a diploma program in the Olympiad season of the master’s track, and if they have a master’s degree or a doctoral expertise in the doctoral track.

Choosing a likely supervisor for the selected PhD program and having an interview with that person make up the third step of the PhD application process.

Both orientations of the Olympiad simultaneously host the first 2 sets of competition.
