McKinsey & Company is offering a one-year internship in recruitment to join the team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The intern will work in the Riyadh office as part of the recruitment team with a primary focus on digital and technology recruitment in Africa, the Middle East and Turkey.

Roles and responsibilities:

Collaborate and engage with recruiters and the manager to develop comprehensive search strategies.
Use networking conferences, McKinsey events, recruitment and research boards, and other creative recruitment solutions to connect with your desired talent pool.
Provide an exceptional experience to the applicant and stakeholders.
Act as a career and talent advisor, working with candidates and stakeholders to navigate the recruitment journey.

Application criteria:

Possess a bachelor’s degree.
More than one year of employment experience preferably in a multinational organization, financial services firm or professional services firm.
Strong sourcing skills across various resources (LinkedIn, X-ray, etc.).
Strong IT skills, especially proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Exceptional organizational and management skills, strong attention to detail with an eye to the big picture.
Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual and local team environment, working independently to bring projects to completion.

Flexibility in dealing with last minute changes, ability to remain calm under pressure.
Flexibility to work overtime as required, especially during peak hiring season.
The ability to apply judgment on the quality of an internal data source, and the ability to access external knowledge quickly.
Proactive problem-solving and strong analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build strong relationships with candidates and consultants at all levels and recruit colleagues.
Fluency in English, knowledge of Arabic or Russian is desirable.
