After less than a year in charge at Goodison Park, Everton fired manager Frank Lampard.

Everton lost against fellow underdog West Ham United on Saturday, their ninth defeat in 12 Premier League games.

With 15 points from 20 games, they are second from the bottom of the standings, surpassing Southampton on goal differential.

In January 2022, with the team 16th in the standings, former England midfielder Lampard, 44, took Rafael Benitez’s place and helped Everton avoid relegation.
